Falls Prevention - Falls Home Risk Assessment

 

The purpose of this program is to provide safety information in an assessment/check list format to seniors, caregivers and the general public about environmental falls prevention and risk assessment. A trained volunteer will assess environmental issues of your home and provide safety tips and information.

Example: Scatter mats, lighting, stairs, pathways, and other environmental concerns.

Volunteers are needed! Volunteer Information:

  • Must be over 18 and over
  • Training will be provided
  • Police Clearance is required and the forms are available at the COA
  • Locations will vary and own transportation is needed
